Lāna‘i Culture & Heritage Center presents E ‘Ike Hou iā Lāna‘i 2026, a summer cultural immersion camp for students.

For Elementary Students. The two-day program will be held on Tuesday, June 9 and Thursday, June 11 and starts at 9 am. While it’s designed for elementary school learners, middle and highschoolers are welcome to attend. Students, age 7 or younger, must be accompanied by an adult.

For Middle School & High School Students. From Wednesday, June 17 through Friday, June 19, this three-day program will be held exclusively for middle and high school students. This experience focuses on imu building and cultural food practices. Students will gain hands-on experience in how to cook food in an imu.

The summer program E ʻIke Hou iā Lāna‘i is the center’s longest running program. The workshops provide learning opportunities to explore culture and heritage with āina-based experiences including native plant study, kāpala crafts and lei making. The experience provides a deep connection to the ʻāina, food and practices that have sustained generations.

Mahalo nui to KS Kaiāulu, NFWF, Stupski Foundation, and Pūlama Lānaʻi for their support of this initiative.

The summer program E ʻIke Hou iā Lāna‘i is open now for enrollment.
