September 2026 —More than 30 volunteers returned to Hi‘i to care for Lāna‘i’s native ecosystems, share cultural knowledge and strengthen their connection to ʻāina through community stewardship.

August 2026 — Starting in September, Lānaʻi Culture & Heritage Center will offer locally grown plants for purchase, giving ʻohana a meaningful way to bring a piece of Lānaʻi home and practice mālama ʻāina.

July 2026 — Start your Saturday morning with fresh island flavors, locally grown plants, and community spirit at the Maui County Farmers Market on Saturday, August 1.

April 2026 - On Lānaʻi, the land carries the stories of generations, and through hands-on, ʻāina-based learning, those stories continue to live in the next generation of keiki.

March 2026 - Save the date for April 25 and join the annual Kupulau Festival, a vibrant celebration of Lāna‘i’s natural environment and cultural heritage.

January 2026 - As we welcome a new year, we also rekindle our aloha for Lāna‘i, the ʻāina, its moʻolelo, and the family and friends who continue to carry our values forward.

December 2025 - December meeting addresses invasives toll on Lānaʻi’s ecosystems. Local hunters are taking responsibility not just as hunters, but as caretakers of the ʻāina.

November 2025 — Kānepuʻu, one of the most significant dryland forests remaining in Hawaiʻi and a wahi pana (storied, sacred place) rich in cultural heritage.

September 2025 — Hiʻi, an ancient Native Hawaiian community high above Koele, is being revitalized through community stewardship that restores both the land and its living history.
